most amazing road - The Transfagarasan Highway,
named the world's best road by Top Gear
presenter Jeremy Clarkson. It offers one of the
most spectacular roads through the gorgeous
Carpathian Mountains. Built as a military route
in 1970 he winds up in zigzags up to Bâlea Lake,
where we find the famous Winter Ice Hotel.
The road continues through a 900m long tunnel
under the Mountains peaks, before going down
through unique and spectacular landscapes and
forests of ancient province Romanian Country.
